Hi! I’m Megan, the founder of August Travel & Co. I’m a Virgo perfectionist, travel aficionado, and self-proclaimed Roman Empire enthusiast.

I launched August Travel & Co in 2025 to combine my love of history with the art of thoughtful travel. I create bespoke Italian journeys that don’t just show you the sights, but connect you to the stories behind them.

With a degree in history and a lifelong obsession with ancient ruins, royal scandals, and pasta in all its forms, I believe the best trips don’t just check boxes — they tell stories. When I’m not planning Italian escapes, I work as a pediatric oncology nurse practitioner, a role that’s taught me how precious time is, and how important it is to fill it with meaning, beauty, and most importantly, laughter shared with loved ones.

And yes, the name August Travel & Co is a nod to two of my great loves: Octavian Augustus, the ultimate master of empire-building, and Taylor Swift’s “August”, the soft, aching kind of nostalgia that makes you want to romanticize your life (preferably in Tuscany). I couldn’t squeeze Henry VIII into the business name (tragic), but hey, August is the 8th month of the year, and yes I do have a tiny “VIII” tattoo, so let’s call it fate. I’ll begin crafting Tudor-themed trips to England in the future, but for now, the focus is on all things Italian.

My favorite Italian cities? Rome (obviously), the rolling hills of Tuscany, and Bologna… a food lover’s dream! I’m the planner your friends wish they had: meticulous (Virgo energy), genuinely fun to be around (I promise), and deeply committed to making your trip feel effortless, unforgettable, and distinctly you.
